Why Choose Sterling

Conservation Proven Performance EPD

Innovation

Innovation

Water conservation is important, but so is impressive performance. STERLING toilets with Dual Force® and Pro Force® Technologies deliver both. Dual Force Technology provides the option of 1.6-gallon flush for solid waste or 0.8-gallon flush for liquid waste while Pro Force Technology delivers 1.28-gallons per flush. Both feature a powerful, siphonic washdown system that sends 100% of the tank water rushing through the rim to thoroughly clean the entire bowl - and save homeowners up to 16,500 gallons* of water and hundreds of dollars on their water bills every year.

* Based on average household of four, each flushing 5.1 times a day, 365 days a year.

Indoor Air Quality

GREENGUARD

STERLING baths* and sinks crafted of solid Vikrell® material are certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), an organization that helps manufacturers create and buyers identify interior products and materials with low chemical emissions. This certification confirms products made of Vikrell comply with low volatile organic compounds emissions and meet California's strict indoor air quality standards.

*Does not apply to whirlpools or Air Massage baths.

EPDs

Conservation

In keeping with our efforts to provide you with smart, stylish products that both exceed your performance expectations and support your passion for environmental stewardship, we are pleased to provide Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)s on demand for a growing selection of products. Sterling's third-party certified EPDs provide full points toward earning Materials and Resources credits by sharing details of a product's environmental performance from cradle to grave, helping you make a more informed choice. Sterling products support your efforts to maximize points earned in the LEED v4 Building Product Disclosure and Optimization - Environmental Product Declarations credit.

EPDs can be created for any Sterling vitreous product manufactured in North America. To request an EPD, please contact us and be sure to include the product name and model number in your request.
